Evgenia Medvedeva (RUS) has been nominated and named as a finalist for the Women’s Sports Foundation’s 2017 Individual Sportswoman of the Year Award
Medvedeva was nominated in recognition of your exceptional achievements over the past 12 months, which were brought to the attention of the Women's Sports Foundation by various organizations and individuals involved in women’s sports.
Voting began on August 16 and will conclude 11:59pm E.S.T., August 27, 2017. The winners will be determined by a combination of the public vote (50%) and the Women’s Sports Foundation’s Awards Committee’s vote (50%). The winners will be the two athletes – one individual finalist and one team finalist – who receive the highest combined share of the public vote and the Awards Committee’s vote.
