Erin Jackson (USA) was the only woman to skate the 500m in less than 37 seconds on Saturday, picking up her fourth win in eight World Cup races so far this season. Kimi Goetz (USA) took silver and Kim Min Sun (KOR) bronze in Salt Lake City, USA. Miho Takagi (JPN) won Saturday’s 1500m to seize her second gold medal of the World Cup weekend, while Canada won the Team Pursuit but Japan grabbed the World Cup Trophy by finishing second in the final race.

After winning the 1000m in a stunning world record time on Friday, Jordan Stolz (USA) added gold in the 500m and the 1500m, before Ethan Cepuran, Emery Lehman andCasey Dawson (USA) brought the men’s competition to a climax in the Team Pursuit. Not only did the USA beat Norway face-to-face, they also broke the world record their rivals had set just a few weeks ago at the European championships in Heerenveen.

“I can’t believe it,” Jordan Stolz (USA) said. Nobody could. The 19-year-old American took .32 seconds off the world record to win the first of two 1000m races at the ISU World Cup at the fast Utah Olympic Oval on Friday. The gap between Stolz and the rest of the field was 1.60 seconds, with Ning Zhongyan (CHN) second and David Bosa (ITA) third. Chung Jae Won (KOR) brought the first day of the World Cup to a close by winning gold in the Mass Start, beating Bart Swings (BEL) and Bart Hoolwerf (NED) to the line in the final sprint.

It was a long time coming, but Joy Beune (NED) finally won her first individual World Cup gold on Friday in Salt Lake City, USA. The four-time 2018 World Junior Champion left Olympic gold medallist Irene Schouten (NED) 1.34 seconds behind in the 3000m, while Valérie Maltais (CAN) seized bronze to take her first World Cup podium in a classic distance.

Short Track prodigy Zhang Xinzhe (CHN) finished his Winter Youth Olympic Games on a high as he helped China to gold in the first-ever Mixed Team Relay on Wednesday. For Zhang, the Relay gold was his fourth medal after clinching the Men's 1000m gold and silver in the 500m and 1500m.

Finn Sonnekalb (GER) and Angel Daleman (NED) take second gold apiece as they top the podium in Men’s and Women’s Speed Skating 1500m events.

Angel Daleman (NED) was looking to win medals in two different disciplines at the Winter Youth Olympic Games Gangwon 2024 on Monday, but crashed out of the Women’s Short Track 500m semi-final only a couple of hours after winning gold in the Speed Skating 500m final.

Chung Jae Won (KOR) brought the championships to a conclusion by retaining his Mass Start title with a powerful sprint to the line.

Ivanie Blondin (CAN) seized two gold medals on the final day of the ISU Four Continents Championships in Salt Lake City, USA on Sunday. After winning the Team Pursuit title with Valérie Maltais and Isabelle Weidemann, Blondin claimed the Mass Start in dominant fashion. In between, Japan's Miho Takagi added the 1000m title to the 1500m crown she won on Friday.
