The Korean has showed great form in the initial Audi ISU World Cup events with a 2nd place in Budapest and a trip to the top of the podium in Dordrecht in the Men 1500m. The battle for second place is also a tough one with Shaolin Sandor Liu (HUN) and Sjinkie Knegt (NED) fighting to get closer to first.

In the first World Cup event of the season, the Korean team looked the strongest placing two skaters in top positions, Lim Hyo Jun and Hwang Dae Heon. Dutchman Knegt came in third.

For the second week, Hwang would improve by one spot taking the race followed closely by Liu and Charles Hamelin (CAN).

The Audi ISU World Cup Short Track will be back next week from Shanghai for the third event in this four stop series.
