ISU

The ISU Council met on October 11-13, 2013 in Paris, France. The following were among the decisions taken by the ISU Council during the meeting:

a) The Council acknowledged the decision taken by the International Olympic Committee and the Organizing Committee for the 2nd Winter Youth Olympic Games 2016 in Lillehammer to advance the dates of the Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer to February 12 to 21, 2016 (instead of February 26-March 6, 2016).

b) In consideration of the change of dates of the Winter Youth Olympic Games 2016, the Council in consultation with the Chinese Skating Association agreed that the ISU World Junior Speed Skating Championships 2016 in Changchun, China, will take place on March 11-13, 2016 (instead of February 19-21, 2016 as previously announced).

c) The Council accepted a request from the Chinese Taipei Skating Union to change the date of the ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships 2016, due to the lunar New Year Holidays, to be held on February 23-28, 2016 (instead of February 9-14, 2016).

In accordance with Rule 127 of the ISU Regulations the ISU Council has provisionally allotted the following 2016 Championships:

ISU World Allround Speed Skating Championships, March 5-6, 2016 in Berlin, Germany, hosted by the Deutsche Eisschnellauf Gemeinschaft (DESG).

ISU European Short Track Speed Skating Championships, January 22-24, 2016 in Moscow, Russia, hosted by the Russian Skating Union.

ISU World Short Track Speed Skating Championships, March 11-13, 2016 in Seoul, Republic of Korea, hosted by the Korea Skating Union.

The ISU Council approved the ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating calendar for the season 2014/15 which is now published on the ISU website
