The ISU appoints a new Chief of Events

The International Skating Union (ISU) is delighted to announce the appointment of Jessica Roosli as its new Chief of Events. With her arrival, the ISU completes its newly structured Senior Management team under the framework of ISU Vision 2030.
Jessica Roosli brings an impressive track record of international experience in event management and marketing. Her portfolio includes leadership roles with world-renowned organizations such as the NBA, Volleyball World, Nike, UFC, and the Red Bull Air Race. A former U.S. Alpine Ski Team athlete, Jessica also spent over a decade working on Alpine ski races for the International Ski Federation (FIS), giving her a profound understanding of the demands and dynamics of elite sports.
Notable achievements in Jessica’s career include her instrumental role in launching the NBA In-Season Tournament and her contributions to Nike’s "Breaking 2" event, an innovative project that redefined the boundaries of human performance and inspired athletes globally.
In her new role, Jessica will lead the ISU’s event strategy, focusing on four key areas:
- Event presentation: Delivering world-class events with compelling storytelling.
- Event and fan experience: Enhancing fan engagement and creating unforgettable experiences.
- Commercial optimization: Expanding growth opportunities and building strategic partnerships.
- Process improvement: Streamlining operations to boost efficiency and performance.
