The ISU appoints Kristian D’amore as new Head of Marketing

In line with its ongoing strategic transformation under ISU Vision 2030, the International Skating Union (ISU) is pleased to announce the appointment of Kristian D’amore, as its new Head of Marketing. This appointment further strengthens and reflects the ISU’s expanded focus on integrated synergies across Communications, Public Relations and Commercial as well as Digital Marketing and Fan Engagement initiatives.

In his new role, Kristian will lead the development and execution of a global data-driven marketing strategy enhancing the reach, relevance, and commercial value of skating worldwide.
His mandate will focus on strengthening the ISU brand, deepening fan engagement worldwide, and fostering stronger connections between athletes, fans, and communities across digital, broadcast, in-arena, and experiential platforms. By leveraging audience insights, emerging technologies, and data analytics, he will drive informed decision-making, supporting sustainable audience growth, and develop fan-first strategies across the ISU’s digital ecosystem, including its owned channels, website, and mobile App.
Kristian holds a Master’s degree in Sport Management & Technology from AISTS. Prior to joining the ISU, he spent over five and a half years at TEAM Marketing, where he played a key role in driving commercial digital growth across the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League.
He brings a proven track record in developing, delivering and measuring global marketing campaigns across Europe, Americas, and Asia, working closely with leading partners including Heineken, PepsiCo and Mastercard to deliver extensive commercial impact.
