The ISU Centre of Excellence Beijing hosts a Short Track Pre-Training Camp in Qitaihe City for the 2025 Asian Winter Games

In preparation for the 9th Asian Winter Games, taking place from February 7–14, 2025 in Harbin (CHN), the ISU Beijing Center of Excellence (CoE) and the Chinese Skating Association warmly invite Short Track skaters from Asian ISU Members to join a Pre-Training Camp in Qitaihe City, just a two-hour train ride from Harbin. Running from January 23–31, 2025, this seven-day Short Track Speed Skating camp is designed to help skaters acclimatize to the local environment and achieve peak performance for the upcoming Asian Winter Games competitions.

The ISU endorses this project in collaboration with the Chinese Skating Association and ISU Beijing CoE overseeing the camp to ensure safety, quality, and overall success. The Qitaihe ice rink is professionally equipped, with convenient accommodation packages available. The local organizers are also pleased to assist with logistical arrangements.
