Privacy Policy
Data and its protection are becoming increasingly more important to individuals and enterprises. The European Union (EU) enacted the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) which has been enforced since May 25, 2018. The GDPR is designed to give EU residents better control over their personal data regardless of where data is sent, processed, or stored by establishing one set of data protection rules across the EU.
In addition, Switzerland introduced the revised Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG), effective from September 1, 2023, which strengthens transparency and user rights in line with international standards.
The International Skating Union is committed to protect your personal data and to comply with both GDPR and Swiss revDSG having members from the EU and being active on EU and Swiss territory.
This includes information collected via the ISU Business Applications, including mobile apps, which may access device identifiers, location data, sensor data, and app-specific tracking technologies.
We may update this Policy from time to time, including within the app. Please check the app or website periodically to ensure you are aware of any changes.
Any questions regarding this Policy and our privacy practices should be sent by email to media@isu.org or by writing to: International Skating Union - Chemin de Brillancourt 4, 1006 Lausanne - Switzerland.
