Isabeau Levito (USA) flew high in the Junior Women’s Short Program to take the lead ahead of Korea’s Jia Shin and Ahsun Yun at the ISU World Junior Figure Skating Championships in Tallinn (EST) Saturday.

Olympic and ISU World competitors Karina Safina/Luka Berulava of Georgia scored a runaway victory with almost 19 points to spare and made history by claiming the first ISU Figure Skating Championship title for their country. Australia’s Anastasia Golubeva/Hector Giotopoulos Moore earned the silver medal while Canadians Brooke McIntosh/Benjamin Mimar moved up from fourth place to take the bronze. All three couples competed in their first ISU World Junior Championships.

Madison Hubbell/Zachary Donohue (USA) took the silver, their fourth consecutive World medal while teammates Madison Chock/Evan Bates collected the bronze, their third World medal.

Two-time Olympic medalist Shoma Uno (JPN) claimed his first World title at the ISU World Figure Skating Championships in Montpellier (FRA) that continued on Saturday. 2022 Olympic silver medallist Yuma Kagiyama (JPN) took his second consecutive World silver medal while Vincent Zhou (USA) rose from sixth to earn the bronze.

Belgium’s Loena Hendrickx earned a historic silver medal for Belgium while newcomer Alysa Liu (USA) claimed the bronze in her World Championship debut.

Pair Skaters Alexa Knierim/Brandon Frazier (USA) claimed the first ISU World Pair Skating title for the USA since 1979 when striking gold at the 2022 ISU World Figure Skating Championships in Montpellier (FRA) Thursday. Riku Miura/Ryuichi Kihara (JPN) took silver, the highest finish in history for a Pair Skating team of Japan. Vanessa James/Eric Radford (CAN) earned the bronze.

All three Men set a new personal best for themselves in what was a high-level competition.
