On August 25, 2016 around 14:00 local time, a shuttle bus transporting two athletes and two coaches from the official hotel to the ice rink, was involved in an accident.
Anna Tarusina from Russia and Anzelika Klujeva from Latvia as well as their coaches and the driver were taken to hospital. They were kept overnight for observation and additional treatment. The medical teams are closely monitoring the situation and the ISU, Organizing Committee and FFSG are providing all the necessary support to the teams and athletes affected by the accident.
