Two-time and reigning World Champions Wenjing Sui/Cong Han of China once more proved their class and skated to a clear lead in the Pairs Short Program in Chongqing on Friday. Canadians Liubov Ilyushechkina/Charlie Bilodeau edged Cheng Peng/Yang Jin of China to take second place.

China’s Han Yan, who came back after sitting out one season, sprang a surprise by winning the Men’s Short Program at Shiseido Cup of China in Chongqing on Friday. Teammate Boyang Jin came second and Italian Matteo Rizzo ranks third after the first day of competition.

World Junior silver medalist Anna Shcherbakova of Russia shone in the Ladies' Short Program as Shiseido Cup of China continued Friday. Japan’s Two-time World medalist Satoko Miyahara finished second followed by Amber Glenn (USA).

World silver medalists Victoria Sinitsina/Nikita Katsalapov of Russia danced into a confident lead as the Shiseido Cup of China opened with the Rhythm Dance in Chongqing on Friday. 2019 Four Continents champions Madison Chock/Evan Bates (USA) came second followed by Canada’s Laurence Fournier Beaudry/Nikolaj Sorensen.

ISU World Figure Skating Pairs Champions Wenjing Sui/Cong Han (CHN), World Ice Dance silver medalists Victoria Sinitsina/Nikita Katsalapov (RUS) and ISU European Figure Skating Champion Sofia Samodurova (RUS) will compete in their first Grand Prix event at Shiseido Cup of China in Chongqing this week. Skate America Champion Anna Shcherbakova (RUS) and Cheng Peng/Yang Jin (CHN) as well as Internationaux de France silver medalists Madison Chock/Evan Bates (USA) hope to qualify for the Final.

Anastasia Mishina/Alexandr Galliamov of Russia took gold in their first senior ISU Grand Prix event as the 2019 World Junior Champions continued their winning ways at the Internationaux de France in Grenoble on Saturday.

Russia’s Alena Kostornaia sealed a memorable victory in her Grand Prix debut at the Internationaux de France in Grenoble on Saturday. Olympic Champion and teammate Alina Zagitova took the silver medal and Mariah Bell (USA) claimed the bronze medal.

France’s four-time World Champions Gabriella Papadakis/Guillaume Cizeron claimed their seventh Grand Prix series gold medal on Saturday at the Internationaux de France in Grenoble. Madison Chock/Evan Bates (USA) took the silver medal and the bronze went to Italy’s Charlene Guignard/Marco Fabbri.

Two-time World Champion Nathan Chen (USA) struck gold at the Internationaux de France in Grenoble on Saturday and qualified for his fourth consecutive ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final with 30 points to spare. The silver medal went to Russia’s Alexander Samarin. To the delight of the home crowd, Kevin Aymoz of France claimed the bronze, his first Grand Prix medal. 

Daria Pavliuchenko/Denis Khodykin of Russia skated to the lead in the Pairs Short Program at the Internationaux de France in Grenoble on Friday. Teammates Anastasia Mishina/Alexander Galliamov took second place while Haven Denney/Brandon Frazier (USA) came third in the first part of the event.

Grand Prix debutant Alena Kostornaia of Russia grabbed a narrow lead over Olympic Champion and teammate Alina Zagitova in the Ladies Short Program at the Internationaux de France in Grenoble on Friday. Mariah Bell (USA) finished third.
