#Figure Skating

Develop, improve and execute Figure Skating skills and elements with the new ISU video series Elements Explained.

The ISU Centers of Excellence have come together to provide a series of videos that will help Figure Skaters further develop the skills needed to progress on their journey as athletes. This series is aimed at beginners and experienced Skaters alike, as it provides special insights from some of the world’s best coaches.

ISU Centers of Excellence in Bangkok (THA), Beijing (CHN), Bergamo (ITA), Champéry (SUI), Detroit (USA) and Oberstdorf (GER) have produced 23 videos in total, where jumps, spins, step sequences and choreographic sequences are broken down into easily comprehensible short videos, with tips on how to better perform each element. The Elements explained series includes:
