Today Viktor Knoch from Hungary was elected to the ISU Athletes Commission as the Short Track representative.

Today Evan Bates from USA was elected to the ISU Athletes Commission as the Ice Dance representative and Eric Radford as the Single & Pair Skating representative. Evan Bates was elected by the Ice Dance athletes competing at the ISU World Figure Skating Championships 2022 in Montpellier, France. The vote was done online in order to minimize contacts and be Covid-19 safe during the Championships.

The ISU is launching a new edition of the Level 1 online course of the ISU Coach Education Qualification Framework (Figure Skating) on the ISU eLearning Platform. The second edition of the course, open for two groups of 30 Figure Skating Coaches each (in total 60 Coaches) to be enrolled from different ISU Members will take place between April 11 and May 30, 2022.

The Challenger Series in Synchronized Skating consists of up to five (5) International Competitions linked together, giving adequate opportunities for many Teams to compete at the international level and earn World Standing Points. Additionally, it allows Teams and Officials to prepare for competing at the ISU Championships.

The Challenger Series is an International Figure Skating Series, introduced during the 2014/15 season. Through ISU support, the objective is to ensure the proper and consistent organization and conduct of up to ten (10) International Competitions linked together within the Challenger Series. The Series gives adequate opportunities for many Skaters to compete at the international senior level and earn World Standing Points.
