The ISU World Figure Skating Championships 2018 will open in Milan, Italy on March 21 and will be held in Milan for the second time since 1951. More recently, Milan has hosted the ISU World Junior Figure Skating Championships in 2013 and the ISU European Figure Skating Championships in 1998.

After South Korea dominated the Ladies’ relay, the Men’s race was more closely fought, with multiple lead changes throughout the 5000-metre A Final but ultimately the same outcome.

Antoinette de Jong (NED) has ended the eleven-year reign of Martina Sáblíková (CZE) in the ladies’ long distance World Cup winning the day’s race and the classification at the final in Minsk on Saturday.

It’s already been a World Championship debut to remember for South Korea’s Hwang Dae Heon after the 18-year-old won gold in the men’s 500 metres.

After finishing first in the Ladies’ 1500-metre Final just hours earlier, Min Jeong Choi  (KOR) glided her way to the top of the podium in the Ladies’ 500-metre Final and Natalia Maliszewska made history for Poland at the 2018 ISU World Short Tack Speed Skating Championships in Montreal.

Team Junost Junior (Russia 1) repeated as World Junior Synchronized Skating Champions as the ISU World Junior Synchronized Skating Championships concluded Saturday in Zagreb (CRO).
