Two-time European Champions Evgenia Tarasova/Vladimir Morozov of Russia skated to a strong lead in the Pairs Short Program at the ISU Grand Prix Guaranteed Rate Skate America in Las Vegas (USA) on Friday.

The ISU is currently investigating the reported homophobic comments by a Coach who is not an ISU Official relating to participants of the recent Finlandia Trophy. This investigation may result in disciplinary proceedings in line with the ISU Code of Ethics.

The new Short Track Speed Skating Olympic season starts with a bang. The first action of 2021/22, an ISU World Cup Short Track Speed Skating event, takes place on October 21-24, 2021 in Beijing (CHN), and serves as the official test event for the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games.
