The ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating series continues this week with the Grand Prix de France in Angers (FRA). The Grand Prix de France is the third of six events of the series in which the world’s best Figure Skaters compete and collect points towards the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final 2023/24 in Beijing (CHN) on December 7-10. Reigning ISU European Champions Adam Siao Him Fa (FRA), Sara Conti/Niccolo Macii (ITA) and Charlène Guignard/Marco Fabbri (ITA) start their ISU Grand Prix campaign while World bronze medalist Ilia Malinin (USA) aims to qualify for the ISU Grand Prix Final in his second event.

During the ISU World Cup Short Track in Montreal on Sunday 29 October 2023 the Final A race of the Women’s 3000 meters Relay witnessed a dramatic turn of events. Skaters from all four competing teams experienced falls in the race's final stages, which extends over 27 laps (each lap is normally concluded in about 9 seconds).
