The rising stars are about to take part in the Youth Olympic Games that will take place from January 9 – 22, 2020 in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Figure Skating will start the festivities for International Skating Union (ISU) sports on January 10. It will showcase the Men, Ladies, Pair Skating and Ice Dance disciplines. A total of 74 Figure Skaters from 19 countries will be competing. The competition will be ending on a high note with an exciting mixed NOC Team Event on January 15.

Speed Skating will begin on January 12 with the Men’s and Ladies’ 500m race, followed by the 1500m the next day and the Mixed NOC Team Sprint on January 15. It will come to an end on January 16 following the Men’s and Ladies’ Mass Start. 64 Speed Skaters from 22 Countries are already in the starting blocks for this prestigious event.

As for Short Track Speed Skating, it will begin on January 18 and will feature Ladies’ and Men’s 1000m, 500m and end with the Mixed NOC Relay race to end the Games in style on January 22. In the Short Track Speed Skating event there will be 61 young athletes competing under 32 different flags.
