The Alpe Adria Development Camp will take place in Celje, Slovenia from Thursday, August 8 to Sunday, August 18, 2019. The Camp aims to develop Short Track Speed Skating and to improve the professional leadership in coaching in the Alpe Adria Region.

The main focus of the project is to create a clear and correct understanding of the discipline of Short Track Speed Skating in order to provide better education for Skaters and Coaches, including getting acquainted with new learning approaches for Skating techniques and improving the physical fitness of skaters.

During the 10 day development camp there will be training twice a day under the direction of highly qualified Coaches and moderators. At the end of the camp there will be a competition to measure Skater improvements.

The target is the top 10 development Skaters under the age of 18 from each country and there will also be a professional environment to educate local Coaches and support them in creating a Yearly Training Plan for the upcoming season and making sure the quality of the training continues in their ISU Member throughout the season.
