#PureAsIce

The Pure As Ice campaign continued in collaboration with CCES at the ISU World Junior Short Track Speed Skating Championships in Montreal.

Most of the countries who participated in the Championships visited the Pure As Ice stand counting 85 participants including 500m Ladies Junior World Record setter Maame Biney (USA) and 3000m Men Relay Junior World Record setter Pengyu Wang (CHN).

Participants challenged themselves with our activities to win some Pure As Ice goodies. Some athletes even took some Pure As Ice wristbands to give to kids they coach back home in their country. We truly thank our engaged athletes and support personal!

About Pure As Ice

The main axes of CLEAN SPORT are testing, prevention and education.

Doping prevention is very important because it helps skaters to raise their awareness without putting their careers at risk. The ISU Pure as Ice Program is displayed at various ISU Events with the aim to promote Clean Sport.

Skaters and their entourage who visit the Pure As Ice booth at ISU Events get the chance to test their knowledge’s on Anti-Doping, chat with professionals and athletes, have their Pure as Ice picture taken and sign for Clean Sport.

By using the #PUREASICE hashtag, join the Pure as Ice Proud to be a Clean Skater community.
