The first Junior Short Track Challenge Competition of the season took place in Bialystok, Poland on November 18-20 and the next will be held in Torino, Italy on November 25-27.

For the competition in Italy there are a total of 176 Skaters from 14 countries entered for this event, which is part of the prestigious competition series for Junior Short Track Skaters, supported by the ISU Development Program.

This year, the program for the competitions is completely new and besides being more interesting for spectators it will also be a test for a future Junior World Cup series in Short Track Speed Skating.

The program includes the traditional individual distances 500, 1000 and 1500 m. In Torino, the qualifying sessions are scheduled on Friday and repechage races on Saturday and Sunday morning. The finals over all distances will be held on Saturday from 14:00 to 18:30 and on Sunday from 11:30 to 14:30. These times are approximate and will be updated on www.shorttrackonline.info where it will be possible to follow live results and streaming.

The Series will culminate in the Europa Cup Final in Heerenveen, NED on March 24-26, 2023.
