The Qualification Systems for the 4th Winter Youth Olympic Games (hereafter called YOG) for all three ISU disciplines (Figure Skating, Speed Skating and Short Track Speed Skating) have been approved by the IOC Executive Board.
A total of 68 athletes will be admitted as participants for Speed Skating.
The age limit for Speed Skating is as follows:
- Born between July 1, 2006 and June 30, 2008
ISU Members/NOCs are requested to take these age restrictions into account when confirming or rejecting YOG Quota Places and when entering the athletes.
ISU Members (hereafter referred to as Members) are referred to further details concerning the YOG that can be found on the ISU website.
On the basis of the ISU World Junior Speed Skating Championships 2023 an initial set of YOG Quota Places has been assigned to the respective NOCs/Members.
In accordance with the YOG Qualifying System the ISU herewith announces the pre-allocated YOG Quota Places for entries to the YOG 2024 for Speed Skating.
