Newcomer Rika Kihira of Japan stormed to the gold medal in the Ladies event at the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final in Vancouver (CAN) on Saturday.

Vanessa Herzog (AUT) skated another impeccable 500m to take her second gold medal of the weekend in Tomaszów Mazowiecki, while Miho Takagi (JPN) clinched her first World Cup 1500m gold of the season.
