The favorites took the prize at the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating SHISEIDO Cup of China in Chongqing. They and other skaters provided some extraordinary performances at this second ISU Grand Prix event. Overall, 27 skaters/couples that all represented the host country competed at SHISEIDO Cup of China.

Cheng Peng/Yang Jin of China celebrated an assured and emphatic victory in the Pairs event at the ISU Grand Prix Shiseido Cup of China Saturday. Yuchen Wang/Yihang Huang (CHN) claimed the silver medal and Daizifei Zhu/Yuhang Liu (CHN) picked up the bronze. 

China’s golden boy Boyang Jin easily jumped to his second, consecutive Cup of China Men's title in Chongqing Saturday. Han Yan (CHN) continued his comeback with a repeat of last year’s silver medal and newcomer Yudong Chen (CHN) earned the bronze on his debut at an ISU senior-level Grand Prix event.

ISU World and Four Continents competitor Hongyi Chen of China scored a runaway victory with 38 points to spare at the ISU Grand Prix Shiseido Cup of China in Chongqing Saturday. Angel Li (CHN) took the silver medal and Minzhi Jin (CHN) secured the bronze. 

Shiyue Wang/Xinyu Liu (CHN) flew high with their “Black Swan” Free Dance at the ISU Grand Prix Shiseido Cup of China in Chongqing Saturday, claiming victory with 14 points to spare. Hong Chen/Zhuoming Sun (CHN) took the silver medal and the bronze went to Wanqi Ning/Chao Wang (CHN).  

Cheng Peng/Yang Jin (CHN) recovered from an early mishap to take a 12-point lead in the Pairs Short Program at the ISU Grand Prix Shiseido Cup of China in Chongqing on Friday. Yuchen Wang/Yihang Huang (CHN) are second, followed by the new team of Daizifei Zhu/Yuhang Liu (CHN).

Boyang Jin of China is poised for gold after a strong performance in the Men’s Short Program at the ISU Grand Prix Shiseido Cup of China in Chongqing (CHN) on Friday. Han Yan (CHN) sits in second, comfortably ahead of Yudong Chen (CHN).

ISU World and Four Continents competitor Hongyi Chen of China dominated the Ladies Short Program at the ISU Grand Prix Shiseido Cup of China in Chongqing on Friday. Teammates Angel Li and Minzhi Jin follow in second and third place. 

Olympians Shiyue Wang/Xinyu Liu (CHN) danced to a strong lead in the Rhythm Dance as the ISU Grand Prix Shiseido Cup of China opened Friday in Chongqing (CHN). Hong Chen/Zhuoming Sun (CHN) stand in second place and Wanqi Ning/Chao Wang (CHN) are currently ranked third.

ISU European Speed Skating and Short Track Speed Skating Championships 2021 change dates and Speed Skating Hub concept approved

Two-time World bronze medalist Boyang Jin (CHN) and two-time Four Continents medalists Cheng Peng/Yang Jin (CHN) headline the Shiseido Cup of China in Chongqing (CHN) November 6 to 8, 2020.

The International Skating Union (ISU) worked with sports marketing agency Redtorch on #UpAgain, and together created a campaign which is nominated as a finalist of the prestigious The Drum Social Buzz Awards in the Best Travel/Leisure/Sports Social Media Strategy/Campaign category.

Guaranteed Rate Skate America was the first ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Event in 2020 and it was a memorable one as the first ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Event held in the times of the COVID-19 pandemic. The event was live streamed on the Skating ISU Channel and videos on demand are available to relive the event. For a fee, fans were able to send in a photo to US Figure Skating and have a cardboard cutout made that was placed in the stands, among them were not only people, but also pets.

Pumping pop music is the order of the day for most Short Track Speed Skating events – but Itzhak de Laat isn’t listening in.
