The ISU Council recently approved the World Cup Speed Skating venues and dates for the season 2022/23 as follows:
November 11-13, 2022 World Cup 1 Stavanger, NOR
November 18-20, 2022 World Cup 2 Heerenveen, NED
December 9-11, 2022 World Cup 3 Calgary, CAN
December 16-18, 2022 World Cup 4 Calgary, CAN
February 10-12, 2023 World Cup 5 Tomaszów Mazowiecki, POL
February 17-19, 2023 World Cup 6 – Final Tomaszów Mazowiecki, POL
In addition, Speed Skating Canada confirmed its availability to move the dates of the ISU Four Continents Speed Skating Championships in Québec City to December 2-4, 2022 (instead of January 13-15, 2023), in order to host this Event the weekend prior World Cup 3.
The ISU Council also approved the Junior World Cup Speed Skating venues and dates for the season 2022/23 as follows:
November 26-27, 2022 Junior World Cup 1 Seinäjoki, FIN
December 3-4, 2022 Junior World Cup 2 Seinäjoki, FIN
February 3-4, 2023 Junior World Cup 3 – Final Inzell, GER
