The ISU Council is proud to announce the hosts for the Challenger Series in Synchronized Skating for the season 2021/22.

The Challenger Series for Synchronized Skating was introduced during the 2019/20 season. The Teams welcome the opportunity to compete at an international level and earn World Standing Points. Additionally, it allows them and Officials to prepare for competing at the ISU Championships.

The ISU Council has carefully analyzed every application to host a Challenger Series event for the 2021/22 season and is proud to announce that the following venues were selected:

  • January 6-8, 2022                            Gdansk, POL
  • January 13-16, 2022                        Eindhoven, NED
  • January 20-23, 2022                        Turku, FIN
  • January 28-29, 2022                        Norwood, MA, USA
  • February 4-5, 2022                          Rouen, FRA

The above calendar, same as the calendar of other ISU series, is subject to a timely normalization of the coronavirus situation allowing the safe organization of ice skating events. While the Challenger Series events remain the property of the organizing ISU Members who remain the key decision makers for those events, the ISU is closely monitoring the respective developments with the expectation and hope that the situation will be restored to normal as quickly as possible. The ISU will inform ISU Members in case of any development or related ISU recommendations and/or decision.
