Reigning ISU World silver medalists Charlene Guignard/Marco Fabbri ruled in the Rhythm Dance at the Grand Prix de France in Angers (FRA) Friday. The Grand Prix de France is the third of six events in the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating series. The world’s top skaters competed in the series hoping to qualify for the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final 2023/24 in Beijing (CHN) on December 7-10. 

Isabeau Levito (USA) took the lead with a stunning “snake dance” as theGrand Prix de France opened in Angers (FRA) Friday, with the Women’s Short Program. The ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating series continues this week with the Grand Prix de France in Angers (FRA). Reigning ISU European Champions Adam Siao Him Fa (FRA), Sara Conti/Niccolo Macii (ITA) and Charlène Guignard/Marco Fabbri (ITA) start their ISU Grand Prix campaign while World bronze medalist Ilia Malinin (USA) aims to qualify for the ISU Grand Prix Final in his second event.

During the ISU World Cup Short Track in Montreal on Sunday 29 October 2023 the Final A race of the Women’s 3000 meters Relay witnessed a dramatic turn of events. Skaters from all four competing teams experienced falls in the race's final stages, which extends over 27 laps (each lap is normally concluded in about 9 seconds).

Japan’s Sota Yamamoto skated to his first ISU Grand Prix gold medal Saturday, in what was a turbulent Men’s final at Skate Canada International. 

Canada’s Deanna Stellato-Dudek/Maxime Deschamps smashed their personal best scores en route to a runaway win in the Pairs event at Skate Canada International on Saturday, finishing more than 25 points ahead of their closest rival.

Reigning ISU World bronze medalists Piper Gilles/Paul Poirier of Canada skated to their fourth consecutive Skate Canada Ice Dance title on Saturday, with almost 10 points to spare.

Two-time ISU World Champion Kaori Sakamoto of Japan won the Women’s Short Program ahead of Korea’s Chaeyeon Kim and Rino Matsuike, also of Japan, at Skate Canada International in Vancouver, B.C. on Friday.

Loena Hendrickx (BEL) skated to the second ISU Grand Prix gold medal of her career as the ISU Grand Prix Skate America wrapped up in Allen, Texas (USA) Sunday with the Women’s Free Skating. 

Reigning World Champions Madison Chock/Evan Bates (USA) danced off with their fourth Skate America title as the first ISU Grand Prix event continued with the Free Dance in Allen, Texas (USA) Sunday.
