The ISU World Cup Speed Skating 2017/18 will be organized as a series of International Competitions subject to regulations given in this ISU Communication. The World Cup series is an ISU Event. Relevant parts of the ISU General Regulations apply, in particular Rules 105, 106 and 136.
The ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating series will start on August 23, 2017. The Series is comprised of seven international events plus the ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final, which will be held December 7 – 10, 2017 in Nagoya (JPN).

Announcement of International Speed Skating & Short Track Speed Skating Competitions 2017/18
Skating has come a long way in the past 125 years.
In accordance with Rule 284, paragraph 6, and Rule 286 the ISU has designated four (4) Competitions as the 2018 Olympic Winter Games Qualifying Competitions.
