Kai and Rubi have been working around the clock to bring you all the latest information from our events at the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games. One of their objectives was to make time to see what the suroundings have to offer.

The Gangneung Olympic Park, open every day, from hosted all ice events and a wide variety of outdoor performances. Aside from the sporting competitions, the spectators enjoyed cultural events, sponsor booths, technology experiences, and the Super Store.

The venues for ISU sports could be found in the Gangneung Olympic Park.

Gangneung Oval

The Gangneung Oval was home to Speed Skating. This venue hosted 14 medal events (7 for Men and 7 for Ladies) over 12 competition days. There were some great competitions in the venue and most evenings were sold out.

Gangneung Ice Arena

The Gangneung Ice Arena saw 18 days of competition. Both Figure Skating and Short Track Speed Skating were held here. This venue has a capacity for 12,000 spectators with a Main Rink and a Training Rink in the basement.

All the Short Track Speed Skating events were sold out and coveted as the most exciting events at the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games. The Figure Skating events started with the popular Team event, followed by the individual events.

Kai and Rubi also walked around the rest of the Park to bring you a feel of the atmosphere enjoyed by over 120,000 visitors.
