The 57th Ordinary ISU Congress continued on June 7, 2018 with the Figure Skating Branch session. The Speed Skating session was finalized on the previous day.

 

Figure Skating Branch Session

During the Figure Skating Branch Session, Delegates debated on the Special Regulations Synchronized Skating Proposals.

The following were accepted: 285, 286, 287, 288, 291, 292, 294, 295, 296 (with amendments). 297, 298, 299, 300, Urgent Proposal No. 20, 301, 302, 303, 305, 306, 307, 313, 316, 324 (with amendments), 326, 328 (with amendments), 330 (with amendments), 334 (with amendments), Urgent Proposal No. 21, 342.

Three Proposals were rejected (289, 290) while 309, 311, 314, 217, 320, 323, 327, 329, 333, 335, 338, 339 were withdrawn.

As a consequence of yesterday’s vote from the Delegates of the Figure Skating Branch on the Special Regulations Single & Pair Skating and Ice Dance the following Special Regulations Synchronized Skating were also accepted yesterday: 291, 293, 299, 304, 308, 310, 312, 315, 318, 319, 321, 322, 325, 331, 332, 336, 337, 340 and 341.

The Technical Rules were voted as a package. For Single & Pair Skating and Ice Dance (Proposals 245 to 284) were all accepted with Urgent Proposal No. 15 to 19, amendments were made to Proposals 250, 253, 255, 261.

Following the acceptance of these Technical Rules, Proposal 196 of the Special Regulations Single & Pair Skating and Ice Dance could be voted on and was accepted.

Technical Rules Synchronized Skating (Proposals 343 to 414) were also accepted as a package with no amendments.

The 57th Ordinary ISU Congress continues on June 8, 2018 at 9:00 (CEST) with the plenary session and elections which will be available as a live stream on the ISU YouTube Channel.
