The Challenger Series is an International Figure Skating Series, introduced during the 2014/15 season. Through ISU support, the objective is to ensure the proper and consistent organization and conduct of up to ten (10) International Competitions linked together within the Challenger Series. The Series gives adequate opportunities for many Skaters to compete at the international senior level and earn World Standing Points.
An Ice Dance Tryout Seminar will be held at the Oberstdorf ISU Center of Excellence (CoE) from May 15 to 18, 2022.

Following the conclusion of the reallocation process, in line with ISU Special Regulations and the respective Qualification Systems for XXIV Olympic Winter Games in Beijing 2022 issued by IOC, the final quota places (total and distance/event quotas) for Speed Skating and Short Track Speed Skating have been allocated.

The ISU has refined the Centers of Excellence (CoE) concept and is launching the application process for the new cycle - the Official Phase of the ISU CoE for the period 2022 to 2026.
