The ISU herewith informs its Members that based on recent contacts with the company Icederby Europe, the ISU in principle has agreed that Icederby conducts a Test Run for 1 Lap Time Trials and Mass Start Skating Races on the 220 meters track at the Thialf arena in Heerenveen on September 7, 2019.
The Challenger Series in Figure Skating is comprised of ten international events. Each Event is organized and managed by the relevant Local Organizing Committee. In order to apply for media accreditation please contact the relevant person as per the attached document.

In view of the legacy of the upcoming Olympic Winter Games in Beijing in 2022, the ISU has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with China Winter Sports Administrative Center (CWSAC) regarding the establishment of an ISU Center of Excellence (CoE) in Beijing.

Every season the ISU invites its Members to send applications to host events as part of the Challenger Series. For the season 2019/20 two applications from Asia were received, Taipei and Hong Kong, to host an event as part of the Series. During its meeting last March, the ISU Council decided to include the event proposed by the Chinese Taipei Skating Union to be held in Taipei City mostly due to more suitable dates.

The dedicated helmet numbers shall be used at all ISU Events (ISU Championships and ISU World Cup Short Track Competitions), except for the ISU World Junior Short Track Speed Skating Championships where helmet covers will be provided.
The Ice Dance Technical Committee updated the Structure for Judges Meetings for Ice Dance. The Guideline for conducting the Initial Judges Meeting, Pre-Event Meeting and Round Table Discussion should be followed by Ice Dance Referees.
