The list of International Speed Skating and Short Track Speed Skating Competitions for the season 2016/17 is now available.
Personalized helmets and dedicated numbers for Short Track Speed Skating (Including enforcement of rule 102 paragraph 6 in regards to helmets).
In order to protect the clean Skaters and in line with the ISU Anti-Doping Rules (ISU Communication 1922, Article 6.5 “Further Analysis of Samples”), the ISU has improved its Anti-Doping Program by implementing a “Samples Long Term Storage and Reanalyze” Policy based on Article 18.104.22.168.1 of the WADA International Standard for Laboratories and applying the respective WADA Guidelines for Long Term Storage.
The ISU is truly appalled and deeply saddened by the findings of the McLaren Report (IP Report).
In accordance with ISU Rule 289, paragraph 6.b), the ISU has decided to hold a course for ISU Referees, ISU Starters and ISU Competitors Stewards in Short Track Speed Skating, which will be organized by the ISU in Calgary, Canada on October 5-9, 2016.
