This Communication replaces ISU Communication No. 1967 Included are Corrections to ISU Communications 2008, 2012, 2016 and the Clarifications and Calling details for the Technical Requirements Season 2016/17
In accordance with Rule 104, paragraph 13 a), b) and c) the ISU publishes the national results for the season 2015/16.
Based on Article 23 of the 2016 ISU Constitution and the Special Regulations Single & Pair Skating, Ice Dance, Rule 440 and the Special Regulations Synchronized Skating, Rule 930, the Council determined this Communication to replace ISU Communication No. 1962 with immediate effect.
During the 129th International Olympic Committee (IOC) Session that took place in Rio de Janeiro (BRA), ISU Honorary President Mr. Ottavio Cinquanta became Honorary IOC Member and was awarded with the Olympic Order.
At the 2016 Congress Proposal 236 for Rules 343 and 823 paragraph 1.a) and 2 regarding the music reproduction system was accepted. Due to "technical" and "operational" concerns, the Council has decided to suspend the new Rules and replace them by the old ones, still allowing CDs and CD players at Competitions.

The list of International Speed Skating and Short Track Speed Skating Competitions for the season 2016/17 is now available.
In order to protect the clean Skaters and in line with the ISU Anti-Doping Rules (ISU Communication 1922, Article 6.5 “Further Analysis of Samples”), the ISU has improved its Anti-Doping Program by implementing a “Samples Long Term Storage and Reanalyze” Policy based on Article 5.2.2.12.1 of the WADA International Standard for Laboratories and applying the respective WADA Guidelines for Long Term Storage.
The ISU is truly appalled and deeply saddened by the findings of the McLaren Report (IP Report).
