Today Eric Radford from Canada was elected to the ISU Athletes Commission as the Single and Pair Skating representative.
During its latest meeting which took place on March 17-18, 2019 in Tokyo (JPN) the ISU Council decided to provisionally allot the ISU European Short Track Speed Skating Championships 2020 to Debrecen (HUN) which will be held on January 24-26, 2020.

The first edition of the ISU Four Continents Speed Skating Championships and ISU Four Continents Short Track Speed Skating Championships have been allotted by the ISU Council.
The ISU noted the reports of abuse and harassment by at least one Korean Coach on Korean Short Track Skaters. The ISU condemns any kind of abuse and harassment on ISU participants and encourages the Korean authorities in their continuation of their investigations and related court decision severely punishing the convicted offenders.

Following changes adopted by the 2018 ISU Congress regarding Rule 102, paragraph 6, ISU Communication No. 2221 replaces and complements ISU Communication No. 2055 as well as enforces and re-enforces provisions outlined in other ISU Communications.
