The ISU's campaign to promote clean sport continued in Minsk (BLR) with the Pure As Ice campaign which was at the ISU European Figure Skating Championships in collaboration with tthe NADA in Belarus.

This Communication summarizes the main general obligations of ISU Members, according to the ISU Statutes and according to established procedures. This does not alter the obligation of ISU Members to adhere to those Rules contained in the ISU Statutes which are not specifically referred to in this Communication.

The ISU is moving forward with the ISU Centers of Excellence initiative. 

All Officials who continue to meet the criteria as outlined in the Special Regulations and who, considering the period of time elapsed since their initial appointment, require re-certification are eligible for acceptance to the Frankfurt Seminar 2019 – re-certification program.

The ISU redesigns the navigation on its website to enhance user experience.

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) announces that its 2019 List of Prohibited Substances and Methods (List), which was first published on 28 September 2018, has entered into force on January 1st, 2019.

Following changes adopted by the 2018 ISU Congress regarding Rule 102, paragraph 6, ISU Communication No. 2221 replaces and complements ISU Communication No. 2055 as well as enforces and re-enforces provisions outlined in other ISU Communications.

During the Pure As Ice campaign held at the ISU World Cup Speed Skating in Heerenveen in collaboration with the ISU Development Commission, almost 150 athletes and their support personal came by to take part at the Pure As Ice activities.

The Pure As Ice campaign held in collaboration with KazNADC during the ISU World Cup Short Track in Almaty, was very successful and popular among athletes and coaches.

The ISU Council agreed upon a consistent Prize Money structure among all disciplines focusing on Prize Money allocation for the top ranked Competitors and with a Prize Money increase for the ISU Championships.

Further to ISU Communication No. 2175, point 9 and in line with the 2016 Congress decision to provide additional opportunities to ISU Member representatives to meet and discuss, the Council agreed to hold a one-day Conference per Branch (Figure Skating & Speed Skating) during the season 2018/19.

This Communication contains the newly revised ISU Code of Ethics and replaces Communication 2104 with immediate effect.

These Communications replaces ISU Communication No.1922 and No.2117, effective November 22, 2018

The Synchronized Skating Judges Examination and Trial Judging will be held on the occasion of the ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships 2019.
