In view of the legacy of the upcoming Olympic Winter Games in Beijing in 2022, the ISU has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with China Winter Sports Administrative Center (CWSAC) regarding the establishment of an ISU Center of Excellence (CoE) in Beijing.

For a second year, the ISU Development Commission supported the Olympic Development Project 2018-2021 (ODP) for Single Skating and Ice Dance Skaters and Coaches that ran from May 20-25, 2019.
A History of the International Skating Union – Seasons 1991/92 through 201/15 was published back in 2016 on the occasion of the 2016 ISU Congress. As of today the book is also available on Amazon in a digital format and on this occasion the original “coffee table” size book is available in the ISU Shop with a 20% discount.
The Ice Dance Technical Committee has adapted the educational DVD from 2013 for the Pattern Dance, Finnstep, to produce an updated video showing the Key Point requirements for the Pattern Dance Element, Finnstep, valid for season 2019-20.
