We are pleased to announce that the ISU Healthy Skater seminar series is back and shall take place during the ISU World Junior Figure Skating Championships 2023 in Calgary, Canada. The theme for this edition’s seminar is "The Junior Elite Skater- Understanding Adolescent Development".

Following the decision of the 2022 ISU Congress to test a new Starting Procedure for Short Track Speed Skating (“Zero False Starts”), it was decided to conduct the tests during the ISU 4 Continents Championships and four ISU World Cup Short Track Competitions.

The 11 recognized ISU Centers of Excellence (CoEs) have entered a new cycle. For the first time, the representatives of the Figure Skating CoEs met in person at Ice Lab in Bergamo (ITA) on the occasion of the annual ISU Centers of Excellence workshop held on October 5-7, 2022.

The ISU Congress 2022 accepted a proposal to establish an Overall World Classification based on an accumulation of points from all individual distances in selected Events for the purpose to determine a Combined Season Ranking and crown a Season Champion for each category, Women and Men (see Rule 286, paragraph 11).
