At its meeting on July 16, the Council decided to reorder the list of ISU Members, based on the alphabetical order of the country abbreviation, in order to establish a clear and consistent basis for the list.

Based on an initiative of the ISU CoE Project Group, the ISU aims to support the training and development of promising Skaters and their Coaches by offering opportunities for quality coaching and mentoring at ISU Centers of Excellence.

The International Skating Union (ISU) has published the International Speed Skating & Short Track Speed Skating Competitions for the season 2021/22.

The ISU Council met on July 16, 2021 via an online meeting. The following were among the decisions taken by the Council during the meeting.

Online voting took place between June 15-22, 2021 on the Proposals included in the summary of Proposals from ISU Members, the Council, the Sports Directors and Technical Committees for changes in the Constitution, General Regulations and Special Regulations. The last webinar of the Virtual Events Toolkit Webinar Series will take place on June 8th, 2021, on the ISU Development YouTube Channel! This final session will guide you through the process of hosting a virtual event, either with live skating or submitted videos. We will go over the four phases or event organization: design, planning, execution, and closing, focusing on the organizer’s management duties. You will learn everything that needs to be prepared before the event, such as settings, documents, and rehearsals, as well as all the production tasks that organizers need to take care of during the execution of the event. 

The ISU Council decided to provisionally allot the following ISU Championships for the seasons 2022/23 and 2023/24.
